  Amazing what unlimited funds can build. Rather than helping the sick or needy, they build a beautiful monument.
  
  My biggest complaint while inside was the lack of hot & spicy chicken. The wine was ok, but they could upgrade the list a little. The bread they serve was flat and unleavened, perhaps they could try some whole wheat or other artisan breads?

  Beautiful Catholic shrine in a beautiful setting. Dedicated in 2008 by Cardinal Burke, founder of the shrine. The architecture is breathtaking. One of the most beautiful churches in the Midwest. The walk to the shrine is equally beautiful, especially in the Fall. Don't miss the devotional areas around the shrine dedicated to different saints and to the unborn.
  
  The Franciscans Friars of the Immaculate are in charge of the pastoral care of the shrine. Holy and hardworking priests who celebrate the sacraments very reverently.

  Incredible place! We enjoyed the various stops along the way. The folks here are very knowledgeable! We would go back when in the area. Folks with disabilities might have a rough time but the do have a covered golf cart to move folks with special needs. The trails are paved.
